Lifeguarding Certification Classes:
Become a certified lifeguard. Must be 15 or older and be able to complete a pre-test.
Classes are held Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 10:00am-4:00pm
December 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th ,30th
$125.00/SPB Resident, $150.00/Non-Resident (Books not included – NO REFUNDS)
Add Must Pass Pre-Test: 300 yard swim, 20 yards swim and surface dive, retrieve 10lb brick, resurface and return in 1 minute and 40 seconds and exit the pool.
Water Safety Instructor Classes:
Become a certified Water Safety Instructor. Must be 16 or older and be able to complete a pre-test.
Courses will return in April 2011
S.C.U.B.A. Certification Classes:
Learn from certified instructors a safe and fun way of underwater exploration. Monthly classes include shallow and deep water dives. Fees payable to Jim’s Dive Shop. Call 393-3483 for start dates. Monthly pool sessions are held at the St. Pete Beach Pool.
