General Election & Special Election 2024

The City of St. Pete Beach's next General Election will be on March 19, 2024, for District 1 and District 3 Commissioners.  THERE WILL BE NO ST. PETE BEACH GENERAL ELECTION FOR MARCH 19, 2024 - AS SHOWN BELOW, CANDIDATE LISA REICH WITHDREW. THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS HAS CONFIRMED NO GENERAL ELECTION IN MARCH FOR THE CITY OF ST. PETE BEACH.

Special Election

The City of St. Pete Beach will have a Special Election on August 20, 2024, for District 2 and District 4 Commissioners. 


The term for these seats will be until the March 2025 General Election (the regular cycle for these two districts). Whoever is elected in the August 20th Special Election and wishes to continue serving will need to abide by the qualification period in November 2024 for the March 2025 General Election for these two districts.


The qualification period for the August 20, 2024, Special Election will begin at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, May 6, 2024, through 12:00 p.m. (noon) Monday, May 13, 2024. Anyone interested in qualifying for District 2 or District 4 will be required to purchase a qualification book for $10.00 from the City Clerk's Office; these books will be available beginning Monday, April 22, 2024. La Ciudad de St. Pete Beach, Florida celebrará elecciones municipales especiales el martes, 20 de agosto de 2024 para elegir de forma especial a un Comisionado en el Distrito 2 y un Comisionado en el Distrito 4. El Periodo de Calificación iniciará a las 12:00 p.m. del 6 de mayo de 2024 y finalizará a las 12:00 p.m. del 13 de mayo de 2024.

El candidato para Comisionado debe ser un residente de tiempo completo de la Ciudad, y del distrito al que busca representar, por lo menos doce (12) meses antes al último día del Periodo de Calificación.

Las Guías para los Candidatos estarán disponibles el 22 de abril de 2024, en la Oficina de la Secretaria de la Ciudad, ubicada en St. Pete Beach City Hall, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, Florida 33706.
